Davinia Pace

This is my Story

Davinia was born and raised in the island of Malta in Europe. She began singing at family events and doing shows for the family every Sunday starting at age 8.

At 13, she took her music career to the next level by enrolling in the Tring Park School for the Performing Arts in England, one of the top performing arts school in the country. Davinia studied at Tring Park for three years, training in music, drama and dance with top industry tutors.

At 16, she moved to London alone attending VocalTech College where she began performing with a band every week and learned different musical genres.

After VocalTech, Davinia moved back to Malta and started recording music and releasing it on radio stations in Malta, often making Malta’s top 10 charts as well as some Number 1 spots with her singles. She was asked to perform at the Bay Music Awards through Malta’s top radio station, 89.7BAY. This was her first big show at 17 in front of 10,000 people and she was nominated “best newcomer”.

The success of her performance did not go unnoticed and she was encouraged to take part in the Malta Eurovision song contest where she placed third with her hit entry ‘Betrayed’. This made Davinia an overnight success in her home country and she was named Eurovision’s “best newcomer” and “the girl with the husky voice.’’

This achievement landed her many live TV interviews and shows on Malta’s most-watched programs, including XARABANK, HADD GHALIK, TVM and she was on the cover of GWIDA magazine twice.

In 2014, she once again entered the Eurovision song contest, making it to the finals with her hit song ‘Brand New Day’ and winning the People’s Choice Award.

After her success in Malta, Davinia moved to Los Angeles at 21, attending the Musician’s Institute in Hollywood where she furthered her studies in music.

In the summer of 2016 she was invited to be the opening act for the ‘Isle of MTV’, a huge music festival organized by MTV. She opened for Wiz Khalifa, Jess Glynne and Steve Aoki in front of 60,000 people.

Davinia is still residing in Los Angeles and has had multiple shows around town with her band including a sold-out show at the legendary Viper Room on the Sunset Strip.

Now with New Vintage Artists record label, she has just released her newest song, Indestructible.
